Chapter Ten The Land of the New Decree

CHAPTER TEN

The Land of the New Decree

I. The Vision of the Healed Land

1 And the Lord opened the eyes of the people, and they beheld a vision of the land made whole.

2 The mothers walked without fear, the fathers stood in righteous strength, and the children played in safety beneath the shade of restored trees.

3 And the Lord said, “This is the land shaped by justice, watered by mercy, and sustained by compassion.”

II. The Covenant of the People

4 And the people said, “We will not return to the ways that wounded us.”

5 “We will not rebuild the walls that divided us, nor revive the silence that hid our sorrow.”

6 “We will walk in the decree all our days, and teach it to our children, and to their children after them.”

III. The Eternal Ember

7 And the Lord said, “The ember I placed within every heart shall burn bright in this land.”

8 “For the scar tissue of generations hath been softened, and the wound hath been named, and the healing hath begun.”

9 “Guard this ember, for it is the light of the lineage and the fire of the covenant.”

IV. The Sending Out

10 And the Lord called the people, saying, “Go forth into the land with restored hearts.”

11 “Build homes of truth, raise children in peace, and walk in compassion toward all who dwell therein.”

12 “For the decree is not a scroll to be stored, but a path to be walked.”

V. The Final Blessing

13 And the Lord lifted His hand over the people and blessed them, saying:

14 “Blessed are you who have walked through the valley and emerged with light.”

15 “Blessed are you who have tended the ember and guarded the bond.”

16 “Blessed are you who have broken the cycles of harm and chosen the way of restoration.”

17 “Your lineage shall flourish, your homes shall stand in peace, and your land shall be healed.”

18 And the people said, “Amen. So let it be written. So let it be done.”

The True Wall

THE DECREE OF THE TRUE WALL

(A standalone decree within the Ten-Chapter Canon)

I. Of the Purpose of the Wall

And the Lord spoke, saying: “Let there be a Wall around the mothers, not of stone nor of fear, but of living souls who walk in truth. For no mother shall stand alone, and no child shall be torn from the arms of the one who carried him in love.”

Thus was established the True Wall—a circle of protection, a haven of mercy, a fortress built not by force but by compassion.

II. Of the Hands That Build It

And the Lord said, “The True Wall is raised by many hands: the elders who remember, the women who understand, the men who stand in honor, the neighbors who refuse indifference, and the children who carry the ember forward.”

For the Wall is not built in a day, nor by a single soul, but by the weaving of community into a shield of steadfast love.

III. Of the Protection It Provides

And the Lord declared, “Where the True Wall stands, no mother shall be left in despair, no burden shall crush her spirit, no grief shall swallow her whole. For the Wall shall surround her with counsel, with provision, with rest, with truth, with the strength of many embers burning as one.”

And the child, seeing the Wall rise around his mother, felt the safety of a thousand hands and said within himself, “I am protected because she is protected.”

IV. Of the Healing It Ensures

And the Lord said, “Before any judgment is spoken, before any separation is imagined, before any child is taken, the True Wall shall be summoned. For healing belongs to the mother first, and through her healing the lineage is restored.”
