Chapter Three Of the Wounded and the Wounding (Decree Version)
CHAPTER THREE
Of the Wounded and the Wounding
The Revelation of the Wound
1 And it came to pass that the Lord revealed unto the people the sorrow hidden beneath generations, the wound that passeth from father to son, from mother to daughter, from house to house.
2 For the harm that is not healed becometh the inheritance of the innocent, and the pain that is not spoken becometh the language of the land.
3 And the Lord said, “Behold the wound of the people: not of one household only, but of many; not of one generation, but of all who dwell in the shadow of brokenness.”
The Ember Buried in Scar Tissue
4 “For within every heart I placed an ember of goodness, a spark of My own breath,” saith the Lord. “Yet the wound hath covered the ember in layers of sorrow.”
5 “The scar tissue of survival hath hardened around it, not from wickedness, but from the weight of enduring what should never have been.”
6 “Still the ember glowed in secret, though buried beneath the ashes of fear, the dust of silence, and the heaviness of unspoken grief.”
7 “Know ye this truth: when the wound is passed down, the ember is buried deeper; and when the ember is buried deeper, the wound spreadeth wider.”
The Cry of the Innocent
8 And the cries of the children rose unto heaven, though their lips spake no words. For sorrow hath a sound even in silence, and the Lord heareth the trembling of the heart.
9 The little ones walked in the shadow of their parents’ pain, not knowing its name, yet bearing its weight.
10 And the Lord said, “The child who inheriteth the wound walketh with a dimmed ember, yet it is not extinguished; it waiteth for the day of uncovering.”
The Divine Witness
11 “I have seen the bruises hidden beneath garments,” saith the Lord, “and the trembling hands that shield the innocent.”
12 “I have heard the prayers whispered into the night, the pleas that never reached the ears of men, but reached Mine.”
13 “I have watched the lineage bend beneath the burden of sorrow, yet I have also seen the ember endure.”
The Turning Toward Justice
14 Therefore the Lord proclaimed, “The wound shall not reign forever, nor shall the scar tissue remain unbroken.”
15 “I shall uncover the ember in due season, and breathe upon it with compassion, that it may burn bright again.”
16 “And the one who healeth the wound in their generation healeth the generations that follow; for when the ember is restored in one, the lineage is restored in many.”
17 So let the people rise in truth, that the wound may be named, the scar tissue softened, and the ember brought again to light.
